I just wonder if these product creators really give you EVERYTHING when they are doing their training. Amazon is such a lucrative opportunity and there is so much upside there that I’m surprised they would trade their competitive advantage for $3500/student.
There are a lot of courses out there and a lot of different business models. However, I believe Amazing Selling Machine is one of the easiest and most straightforward methods you can follow. With the massive growth that Amazon is experiencing and more and more customers turning to online shopping – now is the time to get involved.
So here’s my experience my journey so far, I’ll try to keep this brief. I took a little longer to get started than was necessary. Even after buying simple product profits review course and watching the videos I only started to really get going in January. I also decided to bring in a friend of mine who I outsourced a lot of the work to due to my focus being elsewhere. However, after a few dropped product selections and disregarded supplier conversations we managed to order 200 units of a product from China to the Amazon warehouses in the United States. With a few promotions and advertisements (all taught on the course) we ended up selling out far quicker than anticipated and ran out of stock before we could get the next batch going. We have just started selling our next batch of a 1000 units. We are estimated to make around $4000-5000 dollars in gross sales this month and are aiming to hit, in the near future, a target of $10000 a month with this one product. Do I believe their business model works? Of course, I have seen the results and I am now looking into funding options to ramp up our product selection. The best part of this business is that it is completely scalable, hence, why people are able to make so much money. You simply increase the amount of products you sell.
As long as they truly honor their 30 day refund policy, it seems as though there is nothing to lose since after 4 weeks, I should be moving product daily if I have implemented the training correctly and can bow out if that doesn’t happen.
We had our first sale on June 5th, 2013, and ended up selling about $1,000 worth of product that first month. We immediately put in another order for more inventory (this time, about 250 units, about a $1200 investment).
For the person that asked if I was private labeling, yes that is what I am doing and what the course teaches. If you sell someone else’s product, you will be at the mercy of a price war and your profit margins will be extremely limited, so I only recommend going the private labeling route because you are the only seller and can dictate your price and profit margins without someone undercutting you.
Side note, they are opening the doors again in October, visit the Facebook Launch Event @ https://www.facebook.com/events/498865126848262/ to keep up to date on the latest re-launch of the Amazing Selling Machine Course.
Amazon provides you the opportunity to build a brand by tapping into their traffic/sales and logistic infrastructure. Spend a lot of time researching and thinking about the right product opportunity that YOU PERSONALLY can capitalize on it and take full advantage of it while you can.
With 3000-5000 each doing 5+ products it’s simple maths to see that pretty soon there will be 25000+ ASM products out there, that’s a very big bite out of the possible universe of products that would fit the private label model, that’s not including the many thousands who did not buy the course but are doing it anyway
Save your money and do the homework yourself. You are going to have to put up some money to buy your own inventory, but one thing you should know is you make your PROFIT on the BUY side, NOT on the sell side. If you get a good enough price for good quality products, you will made money even if you have to liquidate stock.
I have found my passion for making money online. What I have realized is that by focusing on building a Real Online Business the right way you will save a ton of time. Stop wasting time on programs that offer overnight gains and looking for shortcuts – you will only be disappointed just like I was.
I’m assuming you are asking me because you know that I earn 6 figures a month. I currently have 5 products (but i’m going to be increasing that soon as within ASM there are a number of new strategies being created as a result of recent market changes).
And some last words. Amazing how Jordan Malik managed to post so many replies without addressing simple and direct questions. That alone hopefully enlightened many of the devoted followers he kept referring to.
I keep getting hung up all the sellercentral forum posts about people getting their accounts frozen, with all the inventory sitting in amazon, and amazon holding all their collected funds for 90 days in case of refunds.
The only real take away is that private labeling has an inherent risk, and that what ASM likely teaches is not as easy as the ASM marketing make it out to be. It will take more than “just follow our steps” and “some hours each day”.
First, I apologize to those that posted questions asking me for answers. I don’t really check this thread frequently and didn’t subscribe to it because I already get way too many emails and don’t want to get distracted.
Update (Mar 2016): Just filed my income tax and it’s the highest I have ever paid – thanks to the income I now make as an entrepreneur that all started with PAC! I also paid down my mortgage by $60,000 and paid for a brand new vehicle in cash (if you know anything about vehicle prices in Singapore, then you know that’s a substantial amount).
EDIT: I took another couple seconds to watch their second video. Apparently they are promoting the idea of creating private label products. In that case, high margins are possible. Problem is most people want the known item / brand.
But this does not change the fact that the course content was thin, missed a LOT of major information and over priced and the only reason affiliates are jumping all over this is because they get paid 40-50% commission on a $3500-4000 price tag.
If you are brand new to the idea of private labeling, this eBook is a great starting point to get the rough idea. Although I am yet to personally launch an Amazon labeled product, I have conducted a fair amount of research before purchasing this eBook. As a result, I already knew most of the content in here. It does not go into DEEP detail on the various steps of launching a product, but does cover enough information to make it an informative read. It is well-written but simply did not suit all my needs. However, any knowledge gained is better than nothing, and for the small price tag I do not regret the purchase.
As a member of wealthy affiliate myself I can attest to its great resources and training. It does however take a long time to start earning, and in some cases, it takes over a year. Seeing that the amazon selling machine has great ways to make money fast, would you recommend this to someone who can afford this? Is the income something that can set you up with success for life, or would it only be seemingly temporary?
Anyone who is willing to take the time to learn the process can earn a full time income with Amazon using the concepts taught in various books and training programs that have been mentioned throughout this post.
What a well laid out and informative review of Amazing selling machine. Selling on Amazon is something I’ve considered before but this has really put me off, and for good reason, so thank you. Affiliate Marketing looks a much better option. Wealthy Affiliate looks like a great way to get in to it, thanks for the recommendation.
The only “con” I’d say for the program is that it has a high price-tag to join. Also, depending on what product you decide to private label, there are some additional expenses with purchasing your inventory.
All the steps from starting your new business to sourcing your own products and private labeling are covered. You will even learn how to create high converting listing pages on Amazon that will turn your clicks into customers.
In a traditional e-commerce website, you will have to drive traffic to your product listing in order to make a sale, and this could mean a lot of cash, or it could take a lot of time before you can drive traffic to your sites (as with Search engine optimization).
For those of you that have been around long enough, around 8 years ago Stompernet was launched with an annual membership price of close to $10K. At least with that, you were tackling something that was a little tough to navigate on your own. Sourcing products, building an e-commerce site, email marketing, analytics, testing, etc.
These three things together determine how valuable your business asset becomes, and how quickly you get there. If you are lacking in one area, you can compensate through one of the other areas. How is that possible? If for example, you are starting with less money, you can compensate and still achieve the same results by working more hours, or executing better/more efficiently. If you don’t have the extra time, you could compensate by spending more money (on inventory, outsourcing, etc.), or be executing better/more efficiently.

I belong to an online training program that is a bit bigger than the Amazing Selling Machine, with over 200K members. But when I first started website development and affiliate marketing, I would have been lost with out the proper training, guidance and support that came with the Wealthy Affiliate program and community.
Had a few pm about selling my membership to asm thanks but no thanks. Yes the course is not very good and fails to exsplain extra costs ect but the reasen i wont sell is that the forum they have is fantastic way better than the 8 modules
