Therefore, even if you are one of those people who do not end up DOING anything, you will not be ‘out’ any money. But if you DO make money with it—like all the sharp marketers are—then I would say that $4,997 is extremely cheap.

That always remains some bad taste and start to think is there more hype to come you blindly believe in?

What drives the point home about how (IMO unreasonably) high a price point ASM is, is the fact that if you get others to sign under your affiliate, you get to pocket $2K. This is a great question. One that I would also like to know, but am not willing to pay 4000 to find out. @Terry… Why don’t we start a new thread called Amazon Private Labeling Q&A, or something like that. This thread did address the question about ASM, but I think it’s ran it’s course, everything seems to http://www.wtol.com/story/37326182/news getting personal and opinionated. I’m going to try to start a Q&A thread:

As I said, I would like to add PL as well to what I do. But that is a steep price tag to start with. But it seems that is the way to sell with the Amazon platform. Going to explore other options to this path.

If you go with content marketing (written or video) the key is to target keyword phrases that you niche audience is searching each day, create quality content that helps people, then repeat the process.

What did I do? I started searching for Amazing Selling Machine reviews, Jason Katzenback reviews and Matt Clark reviews – like you’re probably doing right now! After all that is basic common sense before spending such a considerable sum. To be honest, I did not find anything compelling. The crowd-sourced opinions were mixed at best and certainly gave me no confidence to part with about $4000.

Be careful of those who pretend to be ethical marketers but only hold $$$ signs in front of their eyes. You are not “special” – you are a mark to make money from and that’s it. By the time you figure this out and leave their list, they will have a whole new set of newbies to market to.
