Jim Cockrum the PAC Course, Coaching, and many free resources it’s all the real deal? I have learned a lot of valuable stuff that Amazon and the Amazon Forums just doesn’t have available. Fast forward to this year and their new product…well http://www.nbc-2.com/story/37326182/news friend of mine asked Jason what categories are best to find these great products..after all he said there are thousands of opportunities and and it will NEVER get saturated. Now keep in mind my bud was asking for a primary category like Beauty or Electronics and there are only like 20-30 main categories in amazon. Well Jason wouldnt even say what category he has seen work well or ones that dont…I am sorry if there are so many opportunities why are you worried about saying here are a few that might be worth a go??? I mean these primary categories have thousand upon thousands of products…
5. Get a good idea of if your product is selling – Even though eBay isn’t your end goal, search the product and hit the completed listing to the left to see how much of that product is selling. Consider if its all brand name or no name and know that it’s simple to stand out of the no names…create a logo (I did mine on fiverr and got it revised once I knew I had a hit) and watermark it over no name products. Make sure you take the pic and its not the same pic the factory sends…that means anyone can have access to that pic, thus you won’t stand out.
Thanks for the informed article. You really covered this well. I had a look at this a while back and it was the huge price tag that had me running for cover. Since then I have seen a few that do not cost an arm and a leg, training is good and so is the support. I think it depends on how big your wallet is. If you can afford this, then go for it as they seemed very legit and knowledgeable.

I’m quite sure that creative gurus mix in high-priced, but low-margin sellers in order to pad their sales figures. That way, they can say “honestly” that they are doing $500K per year with a typical private label product netting them gross margins of 80%. That would lead you to believe that the entire profit on the $500K in sales would be $400K. Forget about the fact that the sales number that gets reported in these sales videos are BEFORE amazon fees, which would be up to 20-30% of the sales price.
DEALING WITH NEGATIVE REVIEWS Negative reviews are at the top of some of the worst things that can happen to an Amazon seller. So what recourse do you have? Should you respond to the negative reviews? Abandon the listing and start a new one? On this episode of The Amazing Seller, Scott walks through several ways sellers like you can deal with negative reviews left on your product listing. One thought that Scott shares is to consider offering a new and improved product that resolves the reviewer’s issues free of charge as a response to the review that they left.
So you made the right call with ASM. One thing I’ve mentioned on this review before is that you can start with an affiliate based site and as your site starts to get a good amount of traffic, you can then sell physical products if you like by adding an Ecommerce plugin to your site. Food for thought.

I’ve been in contact with a few other successful members and I think a lot of it comes down to really understanding the nuances of Amazon. They didn’t all have Amazon experience, but you can tell the successful ones just *get it* more than other people in the forums.
When you set-up your PPC campaign, use the auto-campaign feature. It will send you traffic for certain keywords. Spend about $25 per day and let it run for 7 days. Pull the report. It will show you all the keywords Amazon used to send you traffic. You will see how many impressions, clicks and sales you receives. You can see the actually keywords people typed to find your listing. Take the high performing keywords and plug them back into your listing. Optimize it. You get so much data even if you don’t sell. If that’s the case go back. It may be a conversion issue with your copy, bad images or the price.
I don’t participate in the FB group, but the podcast is full of great information. Scott is a nice guy that will answer pretty much any question thrown his way. I listen when I get a chance. Probably more so once I start getting more serious about PL.
