I have gone through almost all the phases of the training. I did find few interesting products that I wanted to launch but it required a lot more capital. I am currently revising my “Product Opportunity List” to find a product that will require maximum $4K out of pocket to start this business. It is exciting but it does require a lot of efforts from my end and finding the right product is the hardest part here. Everything else is just logistics.
But as years went by, a weird thing happened. Those guys proved that they’re a legitimate business. And they kept churning out legitimate Amazon seller success stories, growing and hiring at their office in Houston Texas, attracting quality partners, and honoring all their 30-day refund requests from customers.

2) Once I have a handle on basics, if I feel I need to learn something, head over to Jim Cockrum’s course and start with that. This will cover 80-95% of what I’d learn at ASM for a fraction of the cost allowing me to put the money I’d otherwise spend into inventory, etc.
There’s definitely some stuff that I think should have been covered, and I think Matt and Jason should have been more available in the forums, but given the nature of the business model, I don’t think it’s possible for them to have covered everything
So I reached out to PAC forum, and asked how can I expand my business either hiring people (scanners, as they call them,) my reply was if you show people how to scan, you run the risk of someone leaving your org and starting on their own. Another thing to worry about..
absoloutely PANORAMA , of course people are promoting ASM…WHY !! well because ASM has now been promoted by several different high profile mastermind groups offering bonuses. because not only is there a commission incentive however it is truly the fact that so many people have made great money so easily and so fast that giving back is what its all about.
We’ve included everything you need to build a business with this model. To start your business, all you need to do is get some inventory – which is as little as $500 to $1,000 to get started. We’ve taken care of nearly everything else FOR YOU.
But honestly, I think people are just way way way overestimating the difficulty in selling on amazon. It’s very simple when you compare it to some of the things IMers were required to do back in the old days.
I still don’t understand why these guys need to make a course about it and sell it. If they’re making so much money, and want to make more, surely they’re better off finding some more product opportunities on Amazon that they can white-label?
Thanks for your kind feedback on my Amazing Selling Machine Review. I tried to analyze their program from my experience of working in the importation and drop-shipping industry and give a little perspective on their over-hyped and overpriced program.
Don’t want to start with your store? No problem! This is the easiest way to get started with Amazon if you are interested in eCommerce. Easily create a quickbusiness that will allow you to build up some capital. Then after you’ve got some profits you can invest into your own Shopify store
No, I’m not in this course. I just wanted to hear your thoughts about this so I could make a judgment on whether I missed something or not. It seems like http://morningdispatcher.com/news/amazing-selling-machine-course-evergreen-launch-2018-start-an-ecommerce-business/0045744/ possible to achieve some success even without this course.
Yeah, it’s a steep price for what already exists online, I’m going to be reviewing a couple other products that have much cheaper memberships and are giving out great information. I’ll send you an email when I get the review posted.
I used to wonder the same thing, and if you read very early on in this thread, you’ll see that I was critical of the course for that reason. I changed my mind pretty quickly when money started to roll in.
I answered a ton of great questions about the course from people who either PM’d me or posted to my Facebook group. If anyone still has questions that haven’t been answered, don’t hesitate to let me know.
Yes, we get it. You have a different, cheaper course. Do you think Honda can get Porsche clients by telling them this – hey our car is more reliable and less expensive? While other courses may be good, they don’t have the support around it that this product has. It’s impressive how much value is being generated in order to gain this type of traction. If they weren’t helping others become successful, they would in turn not become successful.
Scott, I absolutely love the first three episodes. I have just started selling my own branded product on Amazon, and this podcast could not have come at a better time. Keep this train moving, I’m learning a ton!
Another great heads-up. Thank you Jordan. I saw your first warnings three years ago and decided to steer well clear of these jokers. I’m surprised they’re back. Just out of curiosity, I looked at their website about a year ago, and they were involved with an entire portfolio of b2b ventures, including (of all things) real estate spruiking. By the way, what happened to that mother & daughter lawyer team they sent after you a while back?
Thanks for your feedback on my review of Amazing Selling Machine. I sold on Amazon for a while and came to the same conclusion. It’s much easier to make AFFILIATE sales than to deal with the whole importation drop-shipping industry using Amazon.

But the issue identified, will not change, and I guess I’m not smart enough to find a solution. The products and suppliers are many, finding one that will give a quality product at a cost where you can make a profit is not easy.
The Amazing Seller podcast is one of the more popular FBA podcasts, and deservedly so. Scott works hard to have resources for seasoned sellers, and beginners. With more than 200 episodes under his belt, The Amazing Seller is bursting with content and covers a ton of Amazon topics. Our only gripe with the podcast is that every episode is nearly an hour long. This can be great when looking for an in-depth discussion of a topic, but it can also make the podcast difficult to digest at the risk of fluff. Overall this is a can’t-miss podcast for any seller.
In fact, in one conversation with Matt over Torchy’s Tacos in Austin, TX, he and I discussed how this business model didn’t have any “hacks” or “tricks.” There are no gimmicks, no “gaming the system,” just real businesses. Nothing that is going to get you “slapped,” and no loopholes that suddenly disappear once someone catches on. This is a business that gets built over the long term and lasts for years.
The easiest way to start, though, is regular purchasing just to get a feel for what is involved. I don’t think it makes sense for someone who has never done it to invest in private label products off the bat. IMO, you need a little experience working with the system and dealing with the kinks, possibly getting UPC exemptions or special category approval and that can take time.
Amazing Selling Machine 8 (ASM8) teaches people how to leverage the power of Amazon to get a piece of it’s $135 billion sales. With the vast potential Amazon’s growing international marketplace offers, Amazing Selling Machine 8 has never been more valuable for potential entrepreneurs everywhere.
With regard to training, people can make their own choices about what is a good value for their money. I guess I don’t really understand why you’d pay for training to teach you the holy grail when most people haven’t just used the existing (and free) training that Amazon provides to do some testing of their own.
So I struggle with the concept of selling an item that is already there. Not to mention going against a well established seller with a few hundred reviews. My choice would be clear as to whom I would purchase from.
