Sales of 50 units per day (1,500/month) is probably a much more achievable goal for the average person, and with a $25 product / 40% margin, you’d be generating $15k profit per month in profit. Still not too bad.

On margins, again it depends on product category, product type, aggression of promotions, platforms used to advertise, etc. For myself I don’t entertain testing a product if I don’t know that it can make at least 40% pure profit margin (although they sometimes don’t start out at that level).
