I think you’d be surprised how much you don’t know. I’d pay $4k in a heartbeat for the stuff I learned through the forums (outside of the official training). The reason the launch videos and affiliates are giving stuff away for free is because there’s still tremendous value in the stuff they don’t show.
However, I did have a concern that the course is an 8 week course. Does this mean it can only be accessed as they release it? I really don’t like that. I would rather be able to see the course in its entirety and work it at my own pace.
The basic idea of this program is that you find products that are already selling well on Amazon, private label them so you don’t have review of dhgate compete, and use FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon) to do the rest. No need to take an order, ship it, or even take care of a refund. This sounded so simple that even one of The Three Stooges could probably do it.
You will also be able to e-mail me once per month, with any further questions you might have from me and will receive a personal response from me for up to 6 months. This means that you can ensure that you’ll get all the feedback and personalized coaching that you need to be successful with the program.
Take a couple seconds to think about how it would feel to understand that you don’t EVER again need to climb the corporate ladder, or miss out on time with your household, or be connected to one place that you might or might not even like.
I did the same thing for awhile and had great success with it, but it was always an issue with quality control for me with my suppliers who were willing to drop ship. They had good products, but most of the suppliers I used couldn’t consistently deliver quality products that didn’t break down. I think I had around 30% defect rate, which isn’t good for customer returns and service.
A/B testing on Amazon is a no brainer for anyone who wants to truly optimize their listings. Splitly automates the whole process for you and makes it super simple to test different prices, images, titles and more. I’ve been able to squeeze out an additional 20% of profit from my products through A/B testings with Splitly.
ASM does a good job overall and I think how they present the material is probably better than other courses I’ve seen. However, in terms of content quality, the training is similar to what you can find elsewhere at a lower course.
Cost: The series is composed of five topics and they can be purchased singularly or as a bundle. The cost is $30 (ASM & CLSI members)/$45 (non-members) per topic or a bundle price of $138 (ASM & CLSI members)/$207 (non-members) for all five topics. The purchase price includes access to the live event, unlimited access to the recorded presentation for up to twelve months after the live event, and continuing education credit for the purchaser.
80% of your time WILL be spent on research, you will need to compared with 5-10 suppliers to get the best price, then email or call them. If you are sourcing from China, expect delays in replies due to time difference.
If Jim teaches you anything, he’s genuine while most are not!!! But with or without him, please do it. No WSO will EVER do it for you, $7 or $4,000.- what I’m saying is if you want to leave it to a chance, your chance is better with him than anyone else… Just saying…
Scott, I appreciate you putting this podcast together as it absolutely helps provide direction for folks getting started as well as motivational talking. I for one enjoy your more relaxed style and am glad you are not a stiff 100% technical talk guy.On the other hand it would be great to focus in on technical content more, typical 30 minute podcast has about 5 minutes worth of technical depth and it would be great to see that balance out more towards 50/50, however stay energized and inject discussion of your real world examples as that is awesome. Also, when I try to download your launch plan it first appears that I can download it, then I have to provide my email and it says it will email immeditialy which it down not but somehow if I sign up for the workshop I get the workshop email emmeaditialy. I understand that getting folks emails is a goal but it would be either the glitch or whatever causes the requested list not to show up promptly really needs to be fixed, currently feels less legit.
Do you find it difficult to get started on your journey to build an ecommerce business? What seems to constantly hold you back? Fear of failure? Not knowing where to start? All of the above? On this episode of The Amazing Seller, Scott welcomes a TAS follower like you, Aman, to the podcast to tell his story. Aman has struggled with many of the ……
The price is very high! And those with success can justify the price. I myself have spent about $2500 on another system that has several tools to use and shows how to sell on Amazon. Because of my small success I can justify the price. If I failed I would say it was a rip off!
And there’s amazon itself, which is where the real problem is. Your store isn’t really yours; your listings aren’t yours and “your” customers aren’t your customers. In addition, Amazon can shut you down at a moment’s notice and all your hard work + inventory are now worth close to nothing. That is far too much risk for any business owner that wants to rely on their online business for steady income. Invest the same amount of money and effort into your own niche store (e.g. Shopify or BigCommerce) using a dropshipping approach
These particular price points, though, are the lowest. My normal selling price on amazon ranges from $36-$140. I could only go into selling something with a low profit if the cost was really really low.

Sure some of the videos on YT are crap but others are brilliant especially on amazon drop shipping and private label rights.Brilliant tuition can be found for free but you may have to take a few minutes to sort the wheat from the chaff.
CleanTAS 429: How to Use Product Research Data to Confirm Good Product Selection (Coaching Call) Do you ever find yourself looking over product research data, convinced that what you are seeing it too good to be true? Have you returned to that same product data a day or two later to find that it has changed significantly? You aren’t alone! 10/25/2017 Free View in iTunes
You have to look at it like this. If you could shorten the learning curve, and make even $10k per month with this system, then wouldn’t it be worth $4k to purchase? I would say absolutely, but that is just me.
While that is a valid perspective, the real answer is “infringement and liability vary greatly depending upon the product you are trying to sell”. It’s also a complicated issue and there’s no way to give blanket advice that works across industries and products.
I have been listening to Scott Voelker’s The Amazing Seller Podcast for about two years, and continue to find it helpful and inspiring. Scott’s enthusiasm is a bonus that can hype you up on top of the fact that he has a real talent for breaking things down into simple (and actionable) bites of information that you can use. When he says that he is rooting for you and encourages you to take ation, I 100% believe that he is genuine, and having met him face-to-face at one of his meetups, I can tell you that he is the same encouraging, enthusiastic, and helpful guy in person as he is on the podcast.
