CleanTAS 255 : Amazon Changes the Game Once Again with Brand Registered Brands (Round Table Discussion) Occasionally Scott likes to have round table type discussions with people who he’s come to know through his experience selling private label products on Amazon. On this episode, he’s recorded their conversation which was originally published to Face 9/14/2016 Free View in iTunes

I do really like the sound of this program. It is just priced to high me at this moment. The way you describe it in such great detail makes want to keep track of this program and maybe use it in the futrue.

The more some decidedly bitter folks try (inaccurately and without listening) to discredit me, the more buzz it creates, the more traffic I get, and the more sales I make. So my suggestion to those (like, 1% of all the contributors here) who want to go to great lengths to discredit me (or do things like create a Warrior account for the first time in their lives just to launch a tirade), PLEASE continue doing so, because I just keep winning, with more accolades from my tribe of followers, more sales, and an increasingly honest reputation.

Having said that patents are very specific. Once I was retailing (not private labeling) a wall clock and got a cease and desist from someone who inherited the intellectual property rights to a patent of a wall clock from someone else. I politely sent them a response stating they should learn about IP law before trying to threaten people because they could be counter-sued. You can’t patent “wall clocks” you can patent a very specific design for them, but a jason fladlien webinar design doesn’t necessarily violate your patent.

Good luck to all those who decided to donate their hard earned cash to ASM and its affiliates. Talk about overkill: persistence and not taking no for an answer, these salesmen must take first prize. Thankfully it will all end in a couple of hours, I hope……………until perhaps an extension to ‘help’ to relieve cash from all those victims who could not get in because of the last minute rush. Goodbye til the next relaunch

The main secret of ASM is called: “ASM Criteria“. This is where I got categories of products that do really well on Amazon. Also categories to completely avoid and even actual products to completely stay away from. For Example you don’t want to get involved with textiles or glass products for your 1st product. Also not to pick any products heavier than 3 lbs etc..

This course uses lectures and hands-on exercises to give participants real-time experience in setting up and configuring the BIG-IP Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM) system. Students are introduced to the AFM user interface, stepping through various options that demonstrate how AFM is configured to build a network firewall and to detect and protect against DoS (Denial of Service) attacks. Reporting and log facilities are also explained and used in the course labs. Further Firewall functionality and additional DoS facilities for DNS and SIP traffic are discussed.

Of course, we are here to build brand, not just sell something. This module brings you 15 lessons, and by now you should have your product samples on the way. You will know the method to select the best supplier, prepare inventory, build a brand name, and so much more.

CleanTAS 222 : (Hot Seat) My Product Just Won’t SELL (WHY?) If you’ve not experienced the frustration of a well selected private label product that simply won’t sell yet, you probably will in time. When a product won’t sell but it looks like the market is a pretty good niche to be in, 6/29/2016 Free View in iTunes

I heard that press release distribution tools are useless because your pr gets sent to crappy pr 0 sites. I heard the only real way to do press releases it with sites like prweb and press release monkey.

I hardly ever leave podcast reviews, mostly because the one I hear aren’t all that good, but I just had to show my support to Scott in hopes he’ll continue with the podcast and sharing valuable information that sellers from a beginner to advanced level can appreciate. You won’t be dissapointed by his tidbits of knowledge and resources shared in each podcast. Looking forward to listening in the future!

Excellent points and I really would encourage any online entrepreneur to read what Rod here has said about the Amazing Selling Machine. Don’t waste your hard earned cash on an over priced and marketed program. Go with Skip McGrath’s The Complete Amazon Marketing System for $147, that’s 33 times less expensive than the Amazing Selling Machine training.

I purchased this program back in March and after spending several months on research, identifying products, and interacting with manufacturers, came to the conclusion that not all that glitters is gold. Don’t get me wrong, the program does offer some good information, but it really glosses over the amount of additional cost that it takes to get anything off the ground. The tutorials offered are not detailed enough to warrant the high price. I am now trying to figure out a way to obtain at least a partial refund from them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We continue to upgrade and update that course at great expense to us, but at NO COST to our past students. The reviews and RESULTS our students are getting are undeniable (we survey our student base and report the results).

The ultimate sales accelerator- Once your sales are consistent & your brand is established, this module will teach you how to accelerate them further. You’ll also know how to accelerate your sales more. More so, you’ll know how to use review magnets to boost your sales more.

My line of thinking used to be just like yours – I thought “FBA isn’t that hard…I figured it out myself, so why should I pay all this money when I already know 95% of this stuff.” Well, (for me) there was tremendous value in that other 5% that I didn’t know. Other people may have different experiences, but I consider myself to be a bright guy and I don’t know how long it would have taken me to get to $50k+ per month without ASM.

If ASM was simply another online drop-shipping class, it would probably cost no more than two or three hundred bucks. However, as Matt Clark noted above, a business is more worthwhile if it generates high profit margins.

CleanTAS 212 : The Simple Process for Getting Ungated to Sell Your Products on Amazon with Chris Shaffer The Amazon sales platform is open to 3rd party sellers (like you) to sell products to people who are already shopping for things they want and need. That’s the amazing benefit it is to sell your products on Amazon. However, 6/6/2016 Free View in iTunes

And it was all over a technicality not a violation (not submitting a data feed for product import because I had decided to just enter the products manually as over 90% of them were existing ASINs). Amazon’s support is horrible. They do have phone support, mostly incompetent. I still sell on Amazon but it is not, and has never been, my only online sales channel.

CleanTAS 195 : How TAS Listener Turned $65 into $1,100 Profit in 90 Days (Real Story) Many people get hung up, never giving an online business or private label sales a go simply because they think they don’t have enough money. Today’s story should dispel all the myths floating around that say that you have to have a lot of cash to ge 4/27/2016 Free View in iTunes

In fact, in one conversation with Matt over Torchy’s Tacos in Austin, TX, he and I discussed how this business model didn’t have any “hacks” or “tricks.” There are no gimmicks, no “gaming the system,” just real businesses. Nothing that is going to get you “slapped,” and no loopholes that suddenly disappear once someone catches on. This is a business that gets built over the long term and lasts for years.

This is a very fun ‘cast to listen to. Mr. Voelker breaks down the steps to operating a successful amazon business in a very practical manner. He is enthusiastic and articulate. I haven’t applied these recommendations yet as I am in the prep stage. However, I’ll be back to update my review after trying these tips out! Peace!

I have come to the realization that I can’t do all of the promotion myself so I have hired some outsourcers to help me with that. It looks like I will only need them for a month per product and I will have everything completed since most of it is all up front work. If you have a decent amount of spare time, you could do it yourself and not need to outsource it but my situation is different.

Hi Kevin. I think the portfolio you’re referring to is their Amazing.com product ($99/month, access to udemy-like courses for learning multiple different streams of income, including Amazon). I am an affiliate of that one only, but to be fair I don’t think their course content has been updated for approx. 1 year.

Sourcing: Use Alibaba or Alibaba Express. With Express you can buy a little less inventory and get a quicker turnaround time. It’s great to test and validate a product. However they are usually less customized. You can ship by air or sea. Ship by air to begin. It will cost more however you’ll get your product faster and can test quicker.

The Amazing Seller podcast is one of the more popular FBA podcasts, and deservedly so. Scott works hard to have resources for seasoned sellers, and beginners. With more than 200 episodes under his belt, The Amazing Seller is bursting with content and covers a ton of Amazon topics. Our only gripe with the podcast is that every episode is nearly an hour long. This can be great when looking for an in-depth discussion of a topic, but it can also make the podcast difficult to digest at the risk of fluff. Overall this is a can’t-miss podcast for any seller.

(Currently I’m trying an additional Product, that will only cost around $1000 for the first batch incl. shipping, labels and everything. Need another 14 days or so and will see how that goes. But I have 12 month experience now and I’m well aware of what I was searching for and took my time for it.)

I have never taken the course.. All the knowledge I gleaned were from his podcasts and other sources (reddit, FB groups, ImportDojo, etc.) I have 2 products out and am on number 3 and hopefully 4 soon. You can absolutely do it without taking the course. With that said, I would imagine there would be rgeat value in that course still, but if I were you I’d just take advantage of all the free info that’s out there.
