It really depends on what you sell. Having said that, a lot of you are assuming you have ZERO liability in whatever you do. Just because you aren’t aware of the liability of what you’re doing doesn’t mean you don’t have liability. Product liability is a whole different beast, but there are product categories where liability is not that much of an issue, and there is insurance.
After you pick your product, you will learn where & how to find suppliers for your product. You’ll learn everything whether you want to source from the USA in case you sell things like supplements. And you will learn how to source from China mainly using Alibaba.
I am just starting out with the FBA program with inventory that I “invented” for lack of a better word and now have manufactured in China and am excited about being part of their Q4 hurricane of sales.

Yes, there is also the investment of product and even though I already knew this, they recommend starting with a small number of products to test the market first, so you don’t go all in with a huge inventory of products that will take you months to sell.
